Developed in 2015, HandStand™ is the first sustainable hand surgical table for procedures of the hand, wrist, and fingers.

The idea for the innovative product came out of frustration with existing products on the market, all of which lasted a single use and represented a considerable cost for hospitals, especially after payers adopted a fixed reimbursement model for procedures.

Dr. Eric George, a full-time practicing hand surgeon and medical director of a small surgical hospital, saw HandStand™ as a sustainable alternative to existing surgical systems. The new device would provide hospitals the profitability to remain competitive under new industry conditions and continue to provide great care to their patients.
